Accountabilities included hiring, retention, and training for team of 7 purchasing managers, buyers, and systems support personnel; department P&L, Brand and supplier relationships, and international equipment sourcing.
Nov 2010 - March 2014
Director – Equipment Purchasing and Distribution
All previous functional responsibilities. Added accountabilities included purchasing duties for approximately $95MM cooking equipment category and 2 Purchasing Managers covering an additional $100MM spend. Responsible for a team of 5 who covered 4 business areas; purchasing, distribution, prototype model management, and systems.

Director – Equipment Distribution and Systems
Managed equipment distribution functions for 3 approved distributors and 15 direct sales suppliers. Developed and implemented standardized, updated systems solutions for equipment purchasing team. Systems implementations included; move to electronic sourcing system; transition to auto generated communication to suppliers and distributors; system transition from AS400 to ERP system; and other projects to standardize and simplify processes.
Led Yum!/UFPC data capture and bar coding project from inception through Supplier and Distributor onboarding; led development of data specification, project plan development, system alignment for 3 Brands, and industry leadership to move the GS1 Food Service Initiative forward. Developed materials still used today to educate and align brand partners to a standardized system for data development, labeling, capture, and sharing for inventory management and traceability.
